Speed of my site

I love the Kleo theme, but my site got really slow now that I’m using the slider and some animations. Is there a way, either installing plugins or cleaning the code to make it faster? Thanks!

You don’t make your site faster by installing plugins, is the other way around. 😀 Having too many plugins installed, uncompressed photos and server response time are the biggest factors in determining the speed of a site. Also, after you finished developing your site, try using a cache plugin to reduce the loading times of your pages.

Ok great! I actually love this site: londonrealacademy.com because it looks clean and it is really functional, so my idea was to create a similar site with your theme, but mine is just too slow: internationalstudentadvice.com
I already have a good server (VPS), and I installed the chache plugin, with also the WP smush plugin to compress the images. but it is yet too slow, do you have any other ideas? Thanks! I really appreciate your help!

Hi. You can also try a plugin that minifies resources like BWP minify and enable Cloudflare on your domain.

If caching is properly configured you should see great improvements
