The question is, would it be possible to make a footer stay on the screen at all times at the bottom, without having to scroll to the bottom of the page to reach the footer? The footer I am referring to is a footer I wrote in and added manually to my theme’s functions.php file as well as the footer.php file. Is there any lines of code that would “fix” the custom footer at the bottom of the screen.
Here is what I have implemented into the functions.php file (Attachment Below). I am using this custom footer to play the audio files it finds on the page it is on and wish for the user to easily be able to pause and play music.

As I said before, its been answered. All you had to do is search and tailor the solution to your needs (i.e. change the css #footer to whatever the id of your custom div is).

I should add that if it were me, I wouldnt add the padding to the top or bottom as shown in the solution. It will save you some screen space.
