I am using strong tag to bold some Words in my posts as well as comments but its not working.

I tried “<b>” tag and it does not work either.

The winners are being highlighted using strong tag but as you can see here they are not showing in bold text.

Same with the title of the movie Dunkirk here in the comment.

Hello, it depends on the font, as i see this font looks like that when is bold, or maybe i misunderstood, how would you want it to look?

I tried changing the font but it still doesn’t work.

Basically I want words which are enclosed within the strong tag to appear in bolder font than the rest of the text.

For example if I highlight the following word using the b or strong tag it will appear with a bolder font.

    Test

Hello, please check attached, the words are not enclosed, just li, not b or strong

Why is The code screenshot you provided not showing the winner (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri) which is in fact being enclosed within strong tags.

    Here is the code.

    • “Call Me by Your Name”
    • “Dunkirk”
    • “The Post”
    • “The Shape of Water”
    • <b>“Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri”</b>

Dunkirk being highlighted was in comment not post. Here is the screenshot for that.

Thanks for the css but found out that the issue was not with the theme but the CDN.

Excluded .css files from the CDN and the words enclosed within strong tags are bolder without having to add the css you provided.

Thanks for your help. You can mark this issue as resolved.
