Styling completely different on iPad vs. Laptop

I’ve styled my theme and it appears nicely across all browsers on my laptop. However, once I review it on my iPad ALL of the styling.. fonts, menu colours and background and the footer colour and background are all different. Am I missing something?

Hello, the theme is responsive, this means that in small screens, it changes to give a better user experience. Its normal that the style changes, and its the best for mobile and tablet users as it makes it easier to navigate

Totally understand the navigational changes, but I’m talking all colours change, for example the background of my header on my laptop is white, the background on the tablet is black.The footer on my laptop is navy and the footer on my tablet is white making it nearly illegible.
