Styling Specific Tabs

Greetings. I would like to style multiple sets of “kleo tabs” differently. You can see on the site that there are two different sets of tabs on the home page of the site, one under “solutions” and one under “about”.  I want to style one set of tabs one way and the other another way.

I see under “Kleo Tab Settings” there is a section called “extra class name” with a note that says “If you wish to style particular content element differently, then use this field to add a class name and then refer to it in your css file.”

How do I create a new class name and refer to it in the css file? What is the code to restyle the tabs to change the dimensions, background color, and text color? Is it possible to use an image as a tab?
