Subscriber can't see post body- Buddypress issues

I seem to be having a lot of issues with BuddyPress – so I disabled it. Couple questions:

1. How can I create a forum page like you have here – I can’t edit sidebar or add topics below forums.
2. Can a user register without Buddypress? I want users to have access to a ‘subscriber’ forum, without having to purchase a membership (or maybe they have to ‘purchase’ a free membership?) but can’t seem to create registrations without Buddypress activated.
3. Currently a ‘subscriber’ can see the forum and add a topic but can’t see the text in any existing topic (but they can ‘reply’ to it.)

Any ideas? Or ideas about just starting the whole bbpress setup over again?

Hello, can you share admin credentials? Buddypress users register as subscriber is as you set it up in settings, so there should be a problem there, what are you attempting to do? I can try to guide you 🙂
