ParticipantHi Sweetdate.
I have some problems.
When I log in normally there’s no problems, but today I tried to log in and it jumped to a page where I should
answer a math question to prove I’m not a bot, and then it jumped to the wordpress login-page.
Why does it do that? And another thing. One of my users who registered on my site tells me the site now have a picture of him, even though he didn’t upload one himself, and he didn’t register via facebook.
How is that possible?Kind regards

ModeratorHello do you have any captcha plugin? that could be the issue.
If he has a gravatar and used the same email at your site, then the gravatar applies his usual gravatar picture, that maybe he set u to be his photoHi there!!! ParticipantNo, I don’t have any captcha-plugins 🙂
I’ve checked my security plugins, and there shouldn’t be anywhere that I’ve enabled captcha.
(But I’ll look again)Ah yes, someone mentioned that to me, and that seemed to be the case, thank you 🙂

ParticipantHi again!
One of my friends are also on my site, and apparently something is happening again.
I’ve disallowed all dashboard access with the plugin “Remove Dashboard Access”,
but when my friend presses “log out” on her mobile on my site, it tells her that she isn’t allowed on the web-address where admins log into the wordpress-dashboard!So she can’t see anything because she isn’t an admin, but she now knows the secret address!
Of course she won’t use that information, but others could if they see the same..
Do you have any idea what could be wrong?Kind regards

ParticipantI think maybe I solved it by using the plugin “Peter’s Redirect” so all users are redirected to the front page, when they log in or log out.
However, when you hold your mouse over the log out-button, you can see my admin-address with “?action-logout” and so on added to it.
Is there a way to make sure they can’t see that? 🙂February 16, 2017 at 23:15 #153247Laura
ModeratorHello, well ,that is something of the browser, sadly we cant hide that

ParticipantHmm weird.
Then there’s actually not that much reason to change your WordPress Log in page URL,
as WP Security recommends?February 19, 2017 at 23:28 #153460Laura
ModeratorYes, it is, but the hover is not related to it, what it means is that wp-login and wp-admin might not be secure enough or its better to hide it
