Sweet date

Hello having used kleo at the agency I work at i was hoping Sweet date would be the same.  Unfortunately its not.  Sweet date has not been properly updated in years and a lot of the functionality and adaptability of Kleo is not present on Sweetdate or the updates. Its running on a very old architecture unlike kleo. The registration form is so limited unlike Kleo. There is no in built chat or way of limiting activities per user. Other themes provide spaces to place advertising code also. These are things that are essential for any dating site. With kleo I could have set up a match.com but sweetdate is far from that.  I feel that my money has been wasted.  Many great suggestions by other users have not been implemented including the ability to upload a photo when registering…I am disappointed.. I realise that all development is going into kleo and sweetdate is just being maintained.  No new features have been added in years.    I just wish I had known that when I bought the theme. I think its fair to say that if the theme is just going to be maintained then purchasers should know 🙁

Chat Messages

This theme has built-in chat with live notifications. It means that any two online users can start a real-time conversation and receive new message notifications even if they are on different pages of the site.

Membership Fees

This theme has built-in membership system. Each membership level limits the number of photos to upload, messages and gifts to send for each user. All membership payments are processed with WooCommerce.

Hello, We never advertised those features, at themeforest you can preview a theme before buying it, and you can see the feature list. This is to make sure that the customer is sure of what he/she is buying. So this doesnt happen after the purchase.
We understand that you would like t have more features, and there are available integrations to have these features.
For example:
Chat –
We have custom codes at the forum that helps you integrate Sweetdate with the best chat softwares like Arrowchat or Cometchat. (Which is a better option that an ajax chat that makes your website slow ( like the one you attached, its ajax chat )

Memberships fees –
The theme comes with paid memberships pro integration, you can find it at Sweetdate > Memberships and it allows you to setup restrictions for your Paid Memberships Pro levels

The registration form at KLEO and Sweetdate are the same, because its Buddypress registration form. There is no difference other than style.

We are also planning to update Sweetdate soon, which will update the looks and features of it.

Please think that we never advertised those features but actually you can integrate them with the theme, and will work even better than the competition. ( For example the slow ajax chat )
