sweetdate updates

Hi, i have recently received an update notification of a sweetdate. I would like to know the following before performing any update:-

– If i download the new sweetdate files and replace with the existing ones, is that a right way of updating my site?
– I have child theme running with some custom css, during this updates my changes won’t go away?
– If replacing files is the right updating way, should i have to do to both parent and child files?
– Other settings that i have done so far, will them still be there after the updates?

Hello, you should be fine uploading sweetdate folder to wp-content/themes as you use child theme, and all your changes are there, you wont lose them 🙂
