I’m trying to set it so that the free members can fill out just the general items like Name, birthdate, Male/female. But everything else like what they are interested in, more information about them, if they are looking for a man or woman all of those fields would be available to a paid member only.

I was looking at the User Meta but it doesn’t look like I can set those fields to a membership set up with Paid Membership plugin.

    Any way on doing this??

    Hello,

For achieving this you need to modify the BuddyPress members templates. You can find the files in
    ..\wp-content\themes\sweetdate\members .

    Thank you,
    Catalin

I found this thread and I’m wondering where would I place the code that the other user found to work?

    https://archived.seventhqueen.com/forums/topic/show-a-specific-profile-field-to-membership-level-subscribers-only#post-21838

So basically it will hide the fields I set unless they have the higher paid membership so they can’t even fill them out or see them???

So I’m trying to find how can I had the groups of “Lifestyle” “Physical” etc so that only those with the paid membership ID 1 can see those fields and fill them out?

Where do I place the code he found to work? functions.php? How do I know the id array of the fields I’m trying to hide?

    Thanks.

Hi, That implies some changes to the file templates given by my colleague Catalin and you need to some programming knowledge and WordPress skills to achieve them. Since it is not a simple solution to give you the best thing to do is to hire a programmer to help you.

    Cheers
