I successfully uploaded the SweetDate WordPress Theme to my site.
Then I followed the instructions to upload the “Demo Content” in the provided “Read Me” doc, using the “WordPress Importer” plugin.
That completed, but made the site look awful. Definitely nothing like the live preview.
Can you help me?
October 2, 2015 at 02:57 #80357MetaphysicalFitnessParticipantI’ve tried installing direct through WordPress and through FTP. The theme successfully installs no problem. But it looks terrible.
I’ve uploaded Demo Content using WordPress Importer on both attempts and still no results.
Website is still not properly setting up.
Can you please help?

October 3, 2015 at 21:25 #80649MetaphysicalFitnessParticipantGreat. This all helped a lot!
The only piece that is missing is the homepage slider.
How do I set that up?
October 4, 2015 at 21:25 #80812LauraModeratorHello, please go to Sweetdate zip folder, in Demo Content > Revolution slider > Exported sliders, grab the slider with form zip file and in wordpress admin area > Revolution Slider > Import slider, select the slider zip in the folder described above.
Now go to Sweetdate > Homepage > Enable slider and Select the one imported.
To enable also the form, select a form in the same window, mixed form is the sign up form when user is logged out and search form when user is logged in.Finally, go to Sweetdate > Buddypress, select the form fields you want to show, make sure also you select the age field, matching fields ” i am a and looking for” gender field is i am a and all other options as you prefer, but fields selected is a MUST 🙂
For the form, i suggest using I am a, Looking for, country and city

October 6, 2015 at 23:41 #81184MetaphysicalFitnessParticipantIt worked! Sweet! Thank you!
Just for future reference – are these instructions included in the download in a text doc? They seem kind of essential?
I am asking because if anything else comes up, I would be happy to reference an existing document rather than continue asking about the basics.
Thank you for all your help. Very helpful.
October 8, 2015 at 20:58 #81528LauraModeratorHello, all should be in the documentation folder of the zip file 🙂
