Hi Theme 7Q,

I was wondering if you can help.

On the following page I am trying to create, if I select the old TAB content element in VC (that comes with a warning that it is a ‘depreciated element’) if I then include a media gallery in the tabs, it displays OK.

HOWEVER.

When opting for the new TAB element in VC (not depreciated) only TAB 1 displays properly (gold). Additional TABS (silver) seems ‘stuck’ and does not ‘drop down’ to show media gallery content? (ignore Platinum as it has no content yet).

I have both old & new TAB elements on the page, which you can see here –

Ideally I would like to use the new TAB element if it can be working properly (design/style is much better etc.)

You’re running Kleo 3.1.1 but haven’t upgraded VC which should be 4.8.0.1. Go to Appearance > Install Plugins and upgrade VC. Let me know if that fixes it.

Thank you for your quick response, which is appreciated. I have updated VC and 2 other updates in the hope that this would resolve the problem, but unfortunately the problem still exists.

You will note that after the updates, the TAB content is still not working within the element container (new TAB element). It works OK on the depreciated TAB element in VC?

I would appreciate you looking into this further for me, as it’s my company website etc etc..

The issue seems to be with the animation Kleo uses for the grid. Unlike the Single Image shortcode, there’s no way to turn off the animations. I’ll pass this on to the developers.

I came up with a workaround that you can use if you want. Instead of and image gallery, in the platinum tab I used multiple single images and added some css to the page that will put them on the same line with a 5px gap. If you click on the gear icon at the top of the VC editor, you will see the css I used. I didnt change the Gold or Silver tabs, so you’ll still have issues with those. But if you use single images in those tabs, it should work fine.

@abe – There seems to be an issue with using the css animations on the image gallery grid within a VC tabbed element. The height isnt being properly set when switching tabs.

Hello, just fixed it but unfortunately I haven’t managed to include it in 3.1.2 version. Until next version please replace these 2 attached files from the theme located in assets/js

Hi Abe,

Firstly, I’ve updated to the latest KLEO release.
As you have my login details, I wonder if you could do this for me, as I am petrified that I might mess it up!?

I am sorry for being such a nupty – but I am not a coder and do need some ‘hand-holding’.

Hi Abe & Sharmstr,

As TABs are probably a widely used element of the Theme I appreciate that you would want to resolve this issue promptly (for the benefit of all users etc.) However, to have such a quick turn-around is fantastic. I have highlighted only a few issues with this Theme since I purchased it and my decision to buy was influenced by the positive comments by existing users about your high quality support.

Anyone still ‘sitting on the fence’ regarding KLEO or other 7th Queen products should take note: SUPPORT IS GREAT!
