Targeting Clients

Hi,

I’m trying to target clients in feature. I have 10 clients but want 5 of the in a certain place. So I need to somehow target those. Is that possible?

The shortcode doesnt allow for it. Is that what you’re trying to do? Really, they are just custom post types, so something could be whipped up pretty easily. Let me know what your after and I’ll see about figuring it out.

yes, I thought it was possible by adding the id or nr.. I’ve been fiddling with the shortcode.. I want to put a row with a certain clients, so for example, I want rick company, tabus company and kleo company in a shortcode so I can put anywhere in my site by using a shortcode.

[kleo_clients number=”1,6,12 or idnr example” animated=yes animation=fade ” target=”_blank”]

I got it working, but will take more work to get it in its own shortcode (maybe you can do that). Here’s the edited Kleo Clients one though.

kleo_clients.txt is the edited shortcode template found in k-elements/shortcodes/templates/kleo_clients.php
config.txt is the edited vc config file found in k-elements/compat/plugin-js-composer/config.php

Basically all it does is adds a new field where you can put the client ids, comma separated. The client ids = post ids.

Forgot to uncomment a test on line 41 of kleo_clients.php. You can safely delete that.

we added the option for Client Tags so you can assign clients different tags then choose which tags to show in the shortcode.
It will be available in 2.8
