Theme login vs WP Social Login

1. Looking for the best way to add additional social networking options to the login form. Is it possible to add additional buttons like Twitter and LinkedIn or is it best to use another plugin like WordPress Social Login? I understand it to be up to my preferences, I’m more so interested in seeing if this is something which may be added in future theme updates. If so then I won’t use the plugin.

2. The same applies to adding social accounts to profile tabs. For users who log in with a social account like FB or Twitter is BuddyPress Social Icons still the preference for allowing users to add icons to their profiles?

Hello, for the first option right now its not possible but might be in the future 🙂
