Theme looks a bit off

Hello Kleo support team.

Our hosting support restored the backup version of our website and after that our site’s mainpage appeared to be kind of disorder.

Our hosting support admits that (4:24) [Melissa] The site is now up again though the theme looks a bit off.

(5:5) [Melissa] What theme are you using?
(5:5) [Andrey] Kleo child
(5:8) [Melissa] It seems to be something with the child theme, I get a properly formatted theme when I switch to plain kleo
(5:9) [Melissa] You'll need a developer to help trouble shoot why the style sheet isn't being added properly

(5:34) [Jesse] If restoring from a backup didn't resolve that there isn't much else we can do on that for you. You'd need to work with your developer to resolve the problem in the themes code

Please help us toresolve this bug issue.

Hello, as the hosting staff told you, it is not a theme problem since if you activate main theme everything is good. You probably made some custom changes at some point and messed something up.

I recommend to remove those custom changes from your style.css or functions.php from the child theme since those are the cause and talk with whoever did it for you to fix it.

thank you anyways​.

Just one question as to developer, please: there is new Kleo theme update 3.9.1 but we have stopped at 3.1.3 version since we had some Visual Composer Vs. Kleo themplate clashing for several times earlier.

What is your oppinion – Is this crucial for the proper use of Kleo theme to update it to the latest version or can we just stay at 3.1.3. that don’t cause us any troubles for now?

We are releasing Monday 4.0 and 3.9 was a silent pre-release to fix any possible bugs that might have occur.

Stick with 3.1.3 until the update and you can see how 4.0 works in a testing site so you won’t affect your live site.
