Theme updates

‘Theme update warns \”all existing option values will be deleted or overwritten\” Will my back up restore all of my options and retain the theme update? Or should I not update at all? Or, am I overlooking something and should not be concerened?’

Hi,

The notice it refers to theme panel settings ( logo,colors,fonts,font-sizes,etc )
Make a theme settings backup from Theme Settings -> Import/Export -> download data file.

Then after update check if the settings remains if not open that backup file copy entire content an paste it to import from file then press import.
