Hi Guys,

I changed one of the background colors in your theme option and it’s removed all the color changes I made earlier and my logo has disappeared, although it’s still visible in the theme option?

Hi Guys,

I’ve had a bit of a nightmare to be honest first I wanted to get the shop sorted but for some reason it wont let me add product and although I’ve added attributes etc. when I add variations it doesn’t recognise them? with the color change thing I changed the header color and link color and when I changed the Highlight color* when I went back to the site it had all change back again 🙁 and the logo disappeared though it’s still visible in the theme setting? I managed to get the logO on the homepage by editing the homepage.

Hi, Your site is under maintenance. The logo doesn’t show on the maintenance page also. it says that image link does not exist: http://golfpro.co/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/gp_logo.png

You should disable caching plugins since that should be the cause of your problems

Should be ok now. also when we downloaded dummy content we didn’t receive the Groups page?

Just create the Groups page if it is not created and assign it in Settings – Buddypress – Pages. That should be all

To be honest I’m totally new to buddypress when you say assign it to buddypress pages it gets a bit confusing because this is all I see in BP Pages

Nice one Abe,

Strange though because it was still showing in the settings and I never deleted it Anyway it’s working now. I’m going to try and do the color changes agian and see what happens when I get to the Highlight color* section and keep you about dated. Did you have any ideas why I can’t get the shop working, be great if you could help there if you’ve got any ideas.

Anyway I’m based in the UK so I wont be spending too much more time on it tonight but really appreciate your help.

Your logo disappearing can’t be related to the options page since it seems that is does not exist in the server.

It’s still in the media files and there hasn’t been a problem with it on the homepage, and I’ve been working on it for about 12 hours today and the only time I’ve had this problem is when I’ve change the color in the style option page?

The only difference this time is that the header color hasn’t changed back. I can upload it again no problem but something must be causing it to happen somewhere?

I’ve put it back again and just see what happens, I know you said it’s doesn’t exist on the server but if it wasn’t there would it still be showing on the homepage?

Also now I’ve changed the header to green, when I roll-over some of the menu the hover seems to stick in placed, also do you have the code so that I could make the green a little transparent.

Hi Abe,

If you select members from the main menu and hover over each menu link especially features the hover is very unstable, do you have any idea how we can fix this? Also we’ve had quite a few problems with the site especially trying to add products to the site but we’ve already left a message on another thread

If you have modified some colors from Theme options – Styling options, that can be the cause. Try resetting the Styling section

I’ve almost set up the registration page but I’m not getting the account and profile details fields, I’m just getting a blank page with the facebook logo and below that the words “User registration is currently not allowed.” Any ideas whats missing.
