Thumbnail not showing on Archive for video post

The thumbnail of the video post is not showing on the Archive page, but is showing on the KLEO recent posts widget.

there are 2 video posts there that don’t have thumbnails, but both posts have featured images.

its okay, already figured it out. turns out the featured images are the videos, for video posts.

one more question.

is it possible to show the featured image caption under the featured image in the post page?

there’s a plugin for it but i want to know if its possible to do it thru the theme itself. thanks!
