Tiny issue with tickbox

Hi Guys

very minor issue this one.

Under group > invites, where it has your list of friends with the tickbox to the left of each so you can choose who to invite? That tickbox is a bit flaky.

First click is fine, and puts the check in the box. If you try to uncheck it, you have to click a few times. And if you want to retick it, you have to click it a bunch of times before it responds.

Not major, but not perfect either so hopefully you guys can take a look – many thanks 🙂

If you log in as the user below – go to community > groups > test group, then you can invite the friend and see the small issue with the tickbox.

sorry about that – I have a couple issues with plugins from Buddyboss and I wanted to show them their plugin does not work in default themes too.

I have reactivated Kleo on the test site now. 🙂

Hello, the tickbox shows fine for me but i do see a bit of delay if you check and try to uncheck, but i think that is because buddypress is “processing it” and it reloads the friends box each time. Does it happen with another theme?

I don’t know this would happen with another theme because Kleo is using a lot of js where other themes don’t.

Can you please try ticking, and unticking and ticking again, a few time? You will see that it starts to get unresponsive.

Just I’ve investigated that,

If you click on the checkbox after max 1 second the box it’s checked, after that if you click again after almost 1 second the box will be un checked.

This it’s happening because there are happens an ajax call and it waits for the response from the server side.

So if a user wants to invite user/users can do this without any problem.

come on. I can’t put a notice ‘please wait X seconds before clicking / unclicking the box because it’s ajax’.

It’s a usability issue.

It’s also a form, right? Why do you need ajax on a tickbox? Why can’t you just use the ajax when you submit the form?
