To be depreciated: transparent menu site wide

Hi,

I saw in the latest theme settings that the choice to enable site-wide transparent menus will be depreciated and will have to be set a the page level.

If I want to enable this after it is depreciated, how would I do that in my functions.php child theme ?

Hi,

When this feature is deprecated it will be removed completely and there will be no default way to enable this site wide. I’m not sure of a way to set this dynamically and I’ll have to reach out to a higher level of support to discuss this. I will get back to you on Monday with an answer to your question.

Hi,

I have spoken to the core developer and they confirmed to me that there is currently no option to set this outside of the Theme Options panel. They confirmed the option will not be removed any time soon. When it is finally removed a code replacement will be made available to you so you can continue to use this option.

Hi,

Currently that code does not exist. As soon as it does I’ll share it with you here but it won’t be for several months when the feature is scheduled to be removed and a specific hook is added to the theme.
