Top bar not disappearing in child theme

Hi guys,

I’ve got an issue with the top bar. I have gone into Theme options > Header Options > Top bar and turned it off but it still shows up as a white strip.

When I use the Kleo theme, it turns off as it is supposed to. When I use Kleo-Child theme, it stays there.

Please let me know what to do. Thanks

I’ll change the theme now, but in case you log in and see that Indigo theme is activated, you have an admin account so feel free to switch it back to Kleo Child. We’re trying to copy some design from the old theme ‘Indigo’ to the new ‘Kleo’ theme, so we are switching back and forth quite often.

Hi Laura,

You asked me to activate Kleo .. I’m not sure if you mean to turn it on in Appearance > Themes > Kleo Child, or if you mean to provide proof of purchase, which I have done in Theme options > Theme Update and put in the Themeforest API Key..

Anyway I’ve applied a workaround which solved the problem. In Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS I added:

html {
margin-top: 0px !important;
}

This removed the white top bar from the Child theme.
