My top level menus are not working anymore. I updated to Buddypress 1.9 and WordPress 3.8 which have speedup my site nicely. The sub menus work fine and if I select the page from the breadcrumbs I can see it. it’s only the main menu top level menus that have sub-menus items associated with them that I’m having issues. If there is no sub-menu items the top level works fine.

That shouldn’t have affected your menu. Go to Appearance – Menus and see if there is something wrong with them or see any plugins you have installed latelyHi there!!! Help others from the community and mark any reply as solution if it solved your question. Mark as a solution---

Issue stops as soon as I change the theme

This bug only affects the main menu area, I added the same menu as a custom menu in the widgets area and works fine.

March 1, 2014 at 02:42 #11682AbeKeymasterHi mikehalson, It works in Sweetdate. Make sure you are adding menu items with proper links

Buddypress links can be added from Appearance – Menus – Screen options

I’ll make the prototype site live for a while so you can see it – http://www.single-living.com
I’ve been working with WordPress for many a long year and it’s nothing to do with getting the links wrong. I also tried disabling every single plugin but it made no difference. Looking at the source code, i couldn’t tell what the problem was either.March 18, 2014 at 00:54 #12911AbeKeymasterI just entered your site and links do work. What browser are you using?
