Hi, i try a traduction in french with po editor, everything work well except for the section pmpro, all my traduction is ignored .. Do you have a idea why ?

Hello, please try using Loco Translate following these instructions:

Theme strings and plugins strings can easily be changed by using Loco Translate plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/loco-translate/
<h3>A small introduction on how translations work</h3>
Translatable strings can come from the theme or from the installed plugins. You need to translate the theme or the plugin depending on what section of the site your string is found.

For example if your string is on your BuddyPress profile then most probably you will need to translate BuddyPress plugin. If you are on the Forums section of your site then bbPress plugin should be the one that needs to be translated. Another example is the rtMedia plugin that adds the Media links to BuddyPress and if you want to translate it then this plugin will contain the string.
<h3>Follow these steps to get you started:</h3>

• Install Loco Translate plugin
• Go to the plugin dashboard: WP Admin – Tools – Manage translations
• Find the theme or plugin in the list.
• If the language isn’t already in the list then click Add new language, choose your language and if you are asked where you want to save the language files choose global language directory ( wp-content/languages/ ).
• Press SYNC button to synchronise your translation with the provided .pot file
• Search for the string you want to translate and add your translated string.
• Press Save when you finished your translation.

Note: You will have to set the language for your blog from WP-admin – Settings – General – Site Language – Choose your language

The pmpro in loco have already the french.po translate , but the plugin ignore the translation…

I try to modify your .po of your theme in the section pmpro… Nothing work… I have translate all the .po but for the pmpro nothnig work,

can you help me ? Thank

Hello, added the sweetdate .po and .mo to wp-content/languages/themes please check if that works, if not, do the same but with the .po .mo of paid memberships pro inside wp-content/languages/plugins

I see,

Pmpro has update their templating structure and sweetdate theme overwritten that template and to fix the translation issue you should delete this file: /wp-content/themes/sweetdate/paid-memberships-pro/pages/account.php

Hi thanks for you answer, i try to erase the wp-content/themes/sweetdate/paid-memberships-pro/account.php but no result, the word Month not translate…

Now you should search for the “month” string in paid memberships pro plugin thru loco translate and to translate it since our theme will not more overwrite the account template

Paid memberships pro is already full translate in french… I have nothing to translate in this plugin normaly…

Hi,

Since the account.php was copied on child theme, the file also need to be renamed to can get default pmpro templates, please have a look.

You can re-enable the account template by renaming it from here: wp-content/themes/sweetdate-child/paid-memberships-pro/pages/account.php.backup to account.php

I have always the Month… I try to rename the wp-content/themes/sweetdate-child/paid-memberships-pro/pages/account.php.backup to account.php but i have alway the word ‘Month’ if i rename to account.php.backup, i loose information on my page…

Let me know if without our template the month word it’s translatable, if this isn’t it means the issue comes from PMPRO.
