For the translation, please check out the plugins that you have that are related to buddypress, any plugin that is related may add or change a word in buddypress, if you find difficulties on translating, then try translating those buddypress related plugins.

It shouldnt appear any problem when you translate using Loco Translate with Buddypress original plugin

I am not able to translate some of the strings with Loco Translate.

I have changed all versions of these strings, but still it won’t change it on the live site.
