Translate texts in Theme Options with WPML

Hi, I need to translate the text that I’ve set in the theme options, like the “Footer text” and the “Main menu info”. WPML doesn’t seem to find the strings with the Translation Management.

How can I translate those texts?

Hi,

Those had kleo_framework domain and they should be translatable

Only those two fileds cannot be translated , did you had tried to re-scan or re-sync the translation file ?

Hi, I don’t understand what you mean, can you please tell me how to translate the Footer text? Not sure how to re-sync, as you comment..

I mean that those strings that you had reported with the issues uses the same technological way that others strings than can be translatable does.
So for the moment i don’t have exact instructions how you can do,… it should work like the others does… can you please provide wp admin credentials + ftp to can take a closer look at that ?

Can i de-activate all plugins and child theme just to test things ?

Hi,

you CAN’T deactivate theme and plugins, it can break the website. It has happened before. We need to find another way around.

This it’s the first approach technique in terms of wordpress debug 90% of times “bugs/issues” are caused by them.

You can duplicate your website to a subdomain (staging install)

why do I need to do that to translate a single string??

I can also edit footer.php file if needed and do it manually, but I need to know how.

Hi,

the responsible file it’s : wp-content/themes/kleo/lib/options.php and the file for footer text it’s 784 so when do will update next time the theme the change will be losed.
