Translation amends are not appearing on site

Hello – I’m trying to change the text used on Buddypress and the theme using the codestyling plugin. I have added a new language, scanned, made the changes and clicked on generate .mo file but my site doesn’t change. Am I doing this right or do I need to make changes in the template code somewhere?

Hi, No need for changes if files for translation. You need to have WordPress installed in your language. Those steps should be enough.
