Translation problem

Hi I have a translation problem in the user activity feeds.

Some fileds are translated but others are not.

Here are some of the field that are not translated:
– changed their profile picture
– became a registered member
– created the group
etc…

I have buddypress language file in the bp-languages folder.
I have buddypress multilanguage plugin on.
I have wpml plugin on.

I checked the file in my language in the pb-languages folder and it is well translated.

Why doesn’t the translation work? Is there something in the theme that blocks it?

I did check carefully each file. Also the ones you told me above.

Everything seems to be set up.

The strange thing is that in one activity I saw this:

– Member x CREATED A GROUP xxx
– Member y HA CREATO UN GRUPPO yyy

Same activity, 2 different languages in the same page.

I don’t understand why!

How do I set all in my language?

generally you can set the language in wp-config.php

what you describe looks like a problem with wpml or so..
try disabling it + check whether the problem continues!

Hi I tried to de activate and then re-activate the plugin (both wpml core and string translator)

Nothing changed. Here is a screenshot:

maybe you have different plugins that generates those strings so you need to translate the strings for all the plugins used. Use the Codestyling localization to translate them
