Hi,
Where exactly in Codestyling Localization do I translate the attached? In theme or in Buddypress? I can’t seem to find them anywhere.

Hello, in Buddypress, using codestyling localization, find it scanning your language then after translation it, go to wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-languages (folder created by you or the plugin) and copy the files created by Codestyling Localization, paste & replace in wp-content/languages/plugins

For the profile cover, translate it by scanning and translating your language in Profile Cover Section of Codestyling Localization

Hello Laura,
I was asking this question because I know how to handle language files and thus have done as you mention in your reply – yet I can’t translate the parts I sent you. I can translate a lot of other things, but not Buddypress menu and sub menu nav (although translated in the file).

Perhaps you would like login details to admin and try for yourself?

Hi. From the screenshot I see there are also some others that need translation so you should really make sure that you followed Laura suggestions to translate, generate the .mo file and copy them to the specified location.

This is not related to theme translation so it is just pure Buddypress plugin related.

If you still can’t figure it out then Laura if you can please connect and see what is the wrong step taken in the translation process.

Hello, i have installed a plugin called Loco Translate, please use this plugin from now on because Codestyling Localization uses the old language path of buddypress. Also this plugin creates backups of translations.

The issue should be solved, please try to translate using this plugin and let me know if you find another problem 🙂
