Hello!

I have a problem with your wonderful theme KLEO on http://lastday.club/

Seems that page generation time is very long (time-to first-byte for home page is 2-3 seconds)

I have upgraded my hosting and now have 2GB RAM, SSD and a powerful core? but the problem still remains.

Hello, you should use a cache plugin like W3 Total Cache
A image optimizer plugin like Smush it
And you should try deactivating plugins you dont really need or use

Hello!

I am using Super Cache plugin and it reduces page load times to 100 milliseconds, but for the first time – pages load much slower.

I have tried disabling plugins one-by one. And it appears, that the one that is slowing the page generation time is Visual composer, which seems to be the main part of the template.

For now – yes, the site loads quite fast, as the WP Super Cache plugin is on – it makes the site load faster. But, for the first time – the site still is long to load.

I thoughr – visual composer is the necessary plugin for KLEO. Isn’t it?

Visual composer is a page builder, but you can build pages using kleo shortcodes, or siteorigin page builder
What i mean is, its not a CORE plugin of the theme, its a good addon, the demos imported are using it so you would be able to use the demo pages, you would need to build the page with shortcodes, visual editor or siteorigin editor
