Hello,
I just updated the theme automatically using Envato WordPress Toolkit, now the site front end is blank.
The theme disappeared in the Network theme dashboard and in the site dashboard it says:
The active theme is broken. Reverting to the default theme. Please help,
TimaFebruary 12, 2014 at 22:20 #10902AbeKeymasterHello,
You should update the theme using included auto-update system. Go to Sweetdate – Miscellaneous and enter your Themeforest username and API key. After that the theme will appear in Dashboard – Updates.
To fix your problem right now you should connect via FTP and replace theme files in wp-content/themes/sweetdateTo get theme updated files re-download the main package from Themeforest and extract sweetdate.zip located in WordPress folder

I read this on the theme page and thought I should install the plugin, sorry ;(
“Easy update using Envato WordPress Toolkit. This is included in our theme, all you need is to set your username and API key is our smart Admin Panel”Now you mean uploading the main theme or child theme via FTP? I can still see the child theme there. and do you mean the new download or the old one?
Thanks for your help.
February 12, 2014 at 22:51 #10904AbeKeymasterJust the main theme gets updates, so you need to put download the new sweetdate theme and put the sweetdate folder in wp-content/themes/

I generated an API key from my themeforest account and added it and my user name to miscellaneous after reading this post but the dashboard is not prompting me for an update?
Am I missing something?
Thanks!
CatherineFebruary 12, 2014 at 23:15 #10906AbeKeymasterYes but I said Dashboard – Updates

Thank you so much Abe 🙂

I updated WooCommerce before I updated the theme..
Now WooCommerce warns me with: “Your theme has bundled outdated copies of WooCommerce template files – if you encounter functionality issues on the frontend this could the reason. Ensure you update or remove them (in general we recommend only bundling the template files you actually need to customize). See the system report for full details.”The new update of the theme is installed. But the message is still there. Should I just ignore the message and update to the latest version of WooCommerce now or?
Thanks
February 13, 2014 at 01:47 #10928AbeKeymasterHi Globetrekker, That message has nothing to do with the theme update, it is an info message from Woocommerce probably they modified something in their structure. You can ignore it. If you encounter problems with Woocommerce after that let us know
