Update theme

Hi there could I please ask a silly question as I am new to wordpress. I receive an email saying new update available for sweetdate theme. Do I have to update now as my website is already finish and if update, does it change any of my setting? Also the important thing is how do I go about updating the theme. I got cloud hosting so could you please give me a step by step guide.

Hi, To update, enter your Themeforest username and API key under Sweetdate – Miscellaneous. After that you’ll find the update under Dashboard – Updates.
Make sure to backup old theme files. If you have done any changes in theme files without using a child theme for customizations they will be lost.
Settings and pages, posts, etc won’t be lost

hi I already update the theme as its appear in the admin dashboard but now I got this message for the woo commerce plugin “Your theme has bundled outdated copies of WooCommerce template files – if you encounter functionality issues on the frontend this could the reason. Ensure you update or remove them (in general we recommend only bundling the template files you actually need to customize). See the system report for full details.”
how do I get remove the old pages etc what should I do

I read the instructions to update. made sure my username and api key are correct yet I cant get the “update” theme button or whatever show to appear. Any ideas? Its v2.2

Hi, you should look under Dashboard – Updates menu. It should appear there

I did look there and I didnt see which is why i put in a ticket. Im putting my login and user if you want to see. It currently says “Themes

Your themes are all up to date.”
