Update theme without child-theme

Hi,
unfortunately not having experience is not used child theme and now i want to update the theme without losing any changes.

I can do something?

Hi, if you have done changes to the theme files and not used a child theme then those changes will be lost. Please activate the child theme from the WordPress folder in the downloaded package. More on child themes https://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes

Any changes done to the theme options or pages, posts, etc are not lost but always make a backup before update
