Updated theme deleted sidebar settings

Hi,

With updating the theme to the latest version my shop and article sidebars were reset and now use the default sidebar on all these pages. How does an update remove sidebars? I put a lot of work into them and really don’t want to redo it. Is there a way to get them back? I couldn’t find any option to change the sidebar for any of these pages as well.
