Upgrade version

Hello Sqadmin,

I appriciate your support and your great update.
I am new in these things.
I have cruel version 1.5 and I would like to upgrade the version (latest one 1.5.1)
How can I do that without delete or remove all the work and changes that I have done before?
I am using ftp.
What type of steps do I have to follow to get that done. I am a little bit worried in doing something wrong.

Hi,
First make a backup of the old files. The easiest way is to do it automatically from admin by entering your TF user and API key in Sweetdate -> Miscellaneous . After that the update will be available in the wp-admin/update-core.php
When doing the automatic update you will lose your translation files(if you have translated the theme) from sweetdate/languages so make sure to have a backup and copy them after the update

Basically you will lose any added files to the main theme or any modified files.
If you have used the child-theme then you have nothing to worry about because all changes are done in sweetdate-child theme folder and you don’t change anything to it.

If you want to do it by FTP get the new download from TF and replace only the sweetdate theme folder. Do not replace the sweetdate-child.
