Upgraded Theme Folder But Child Theme Still Says Update to 2.3.1

Hi – I upgraded the Sweetdate theme folder via FTP. I am using the child theme also. I have not done anything to the child theme folder. I guess I was expecting that the update notification would go away but it hasn’t. It still reads ‘you have 2.3 installed. update to 2.3.1’

Is there something I need to update in the child theme folder to make this go away – without blowing away my customizations of course 🙂

Hello, Child theme doesn’t get updated since it has your customizations and will show the initial version so that is fine.

or to not show the version go to sweetdate-child/style.css and remove the version line
