Use custom URL on Masonry Grid OR integration of Post Masonry Grid with WP Gallery Custom Link

Hi,

I have a masonry grid set up to display some of my media files. I would like the image to link to a custom URL, as opposed to the attachment page or media file within my site.

I can’t figure out how to do this via any of the settings of VC or KLEO. Is there any way you could tell me?

To try and solve my problem, I installed the WP Gallery Custom Link plugin. It creates fields in the media file page to add the custom URL then it automatically links to that url when the image is displayed in a gallery. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to figure out how to get it to use the custom url when the image is displayed in the VC post or media grid.

Could you provide any help to get the custom url  working with the grid? That would be really awesome. I am really hoping you can help with this.

I know I could just use the gallery but I like the grid a lot more to display the files; they are pdfs and they look better with the grid, plus I can display caption, title, etc a lot easier.

Hi,

This it’s something custom and advanced job our support cannot help you with custom development, it implies to modify core visual composer files.
I recommend you to hire a developer to achieve that.

Thanks for getting back to me. That’s disappointing, but oh well, I thought I would at least ask.

Speaking of VC, I noticed KLEO uses a version that is a few updates old. Does this make any difference? Perhaps the latest version has some options that could help me here.

I don;t think that update will can help you related to your project since it’s a custom thing.
