Hi,

When I submit the user registration form, it shows ‘User registration is currently not allowed.’ Could u advise?

Go to wp-admin->settings->general
under Membership, make sure Anyone can register is checked.

Anyone can register as what kind of user under “New User Default Role”?

As a Subscriber, as a Customer, or a Contributor. Which one is the best choice for your theme and for selling subscriptions or memberships?

Hi, default role and recommended is Subscriber since they don’t need any special permissions
