Hi Abe, We launched two sites yesterday for a client. http://www.hennamatrimonials.com and http://www.falafelandburgers.com. Falafel has not had signups, but we are receiving traffic for Henna. We had several new accounts open overnight, but 3 or 4 of them do not seem to be fully active. The one thing that seems to connect the accounts that are not showing up in the new users feed or the search page, is that they all 3 in the backend, under “Forum Role”, do not have any role at all. I tried changing one of their roles to “Participant” like the rest, but that did not cause them to appear in the site either.
Do you know why they are not “fully” activated? Do they have to have logged in once in order to be totally activated? If so, is there a way to manually fix that so they appear in the site?
Thanks so much,

I am unsure how to discern which step they lack: Did they not click the activation link yet? It seems that they have…I’m guessing they have not yet logged in the first time. Is there a way in the database, or back end, to manually change this?

We want them to be activated as soon as they click the activation link, proving they are real. I see some various chats you have about this, but am unsure which solution to use. We have this setup so that it automatically enrolls them in free membership, and so I do not want to do anything that will mess that up.

Also since Buddypress 2.0 you will see the users that haven’t activated their account in Wp admin – Users

This skeleton key plugin is pretty cool, lets you log in as any user just using admin password. https://wordpress.org/plugins/skeleton-key/
