Users profile 404 error

All new users profiles gets 404 error page. Also edit main user also gets 404 error. E-mails to new users not sent also. Please help

Hi,

Please make sure that this issue is not caused by some plugin, disable all plugin except buddypress and repeat the action, and make sure that the buddypress are configured correctly by going to wp-admin -> settings -> buddypress -> pages and the pages are assigned to each option see attachment.

Thank you, After disabling bbress plugin profile works, but I get error when registering new user:

Where can I setup e-mails? And what e-mail address using to sending verification?

Hi,

Please install this plugin : https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-mail-smtp/ configure the sender name and sender address, and try to swith from wp_smtp to wp_mail function and test and see if the error persists.

Regarding the bbpress, it’s compatible with buddypress and it should works without problems, do you have installed some add on for bbpress ? Anyways if you don’t have some forums content try to reinstall the bbpress plugin.

I have same error everywhere:

Do you have an VPS ? if yes try to update the PCRE library

if not contact the hosting support and tell el about this error

I changed server to another PHP as hoster advised. no more error but e-mail not sent.

New error 🙁 Request to friend – error 404,
http://money.energy/users/medved-us/friends/requests/ – 404!

I’ve found what causes this problem it’s about Hyper Cache plugin, now is deactivated for cache i suggest you WP SUPER CACHE or W3 Total Cache

OK! thank you. But I still have a MAIN problem – website do not send any e-mails from registration form.. What e-mails use your template & what methot? I need to know e-mail process from the beginning to fix this on my host!

The emails are sent from the buddypress plugin, our theme has custom emails just for the lost-password form and even that is sent with the default wp_mail() function, so in your case most probably there is a limitation from your host, you should better ask at hosting support for more details.

E-mails from wordpress are delivered for sure to any of my e-mails (new user notifications from wordpress@money.energy for example).

E-mails from your theme DID NOT delivering to any of my e-mails (lost password form on http://money.energy/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword or registration form on http://money.energy/registration/ – not in any of this cases).

PLEASE do not send me – your customer – to any other application creator. I bought this imem from you! I have support ID – I payed for it. Your theme has multiple other bugs, but this bug is CRITICAL.

Pease make your theme fully works. My domain is Money.Energy. I gave you full access to my wordpress admin to make any tests. E-mail delivery allowed on my host from e-mails wordpress@money.energy, no-reply@money.energy and admin@money.energy 100%.

How can you say that all your “wordpress” emails goes right when this lost password form ( http://money.energy/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword ) it one that comes directly from the wordpress system and on which we don’t make any modifications.

The second one ( http://money.energy/registration/ ), is a page that comes from the BuddyPress plugin, and here if you really wouldn’t have any problems with your email delivery then they could only be blocked or disabled by third party plugins or with some custom modifications.

In order to demonstrate yourself that the issue you’re encountering is or not from our theme, please temporary change your theme to a wordpress default one, and try to see if with another theme your emails goes fine.

And finally, the support that comes bundled with the purchase you’ve made when you bought our theme will only cover our product and not any other plugins ( even if they are plugins that are on our recommended list ), because we simply can’t interfere with the way they work, we can just enhance the way they integrate with our theme at a design and user interface level.
