Users see software update messages

Logged in users sometimes get messages on top of a page (like for event input for example) like this:
“Sorry, but you do not have the correct permissions to update ..xyz… software”
How to avoid those messages?
I’m not sure which software is causing that. WP? BP?

Hello, it may be another plugin that didnt come with the theme, could you test deactivating one by one? 🙂
