    Hi,

I’ve created an awards site within my main community site here: http://inhouserecruitment.co.uk/awards.

I’ve chosen to use the portfolio option to display my judges on the home page. However it seems that portfolio images have to link to a portfolio page. Which is fine as I can add more information about the judge on a new page however I’ve noticed a hurdle in that; A portfolio page doesn’t allow you to designate a specific menu.

My other option was to use a carousel or multiple images however I can’t add title to each one in the same way you can for a portfolio thumb.

Any advice on this would be really appreciated.

Hello, you could use a page for each judge and use post grid to show the pages, you can filter them by category like “judge”

Ok good suggestion I’ll try that thanks.

Shame the portfolio option is not more flexible. It just needs the ability to add a different menu

Also, it would be great to add text overlays to images say on a carousel or image gallery. That would have solved this for me also.

    Thanks again
