ParticipantHi,
I am using a CDN, W3 Cache, a virtual dedicated server, an image optimizer, and my site is still ridiculously slow. It’s maxing out the resources of my dedicated server in the process. My server provider mentioned issues with PHP, is there anything I can do to improve the PHP processes with the php.ini file?
Please let me know asap.
Thanks,
Ryan

Attached speed now, its very good as you are using rtmedia, that is slow recentlyHi there!!! Help others from the community and mark any reply as solution if it solved your question. Mark as a solutionFebruary 18, 2016 at 09:52 #104632morningtide
ParticipantYes, it’s not bad when traffic is very low on the site. But during peak hours the site overloads the vps server. Even during low hours the site runs very poorly according to Google Speedtest and GTmetrix (see screenshots).
Is there anything else I can do?
Also, I am unclear on what you are saying about RTmedia? It is slow recently? Was it always this slow?
Thank you.

ModeratorHello, rtmedia is having speed issues recently, sadly we cant do much about this, but please try optimizing the site with:
WP Optimizer plugin
Smush it plugin for images
Speed Booster pack sometimes helps too
A lazy load pluginThis post: https://archived.seventhqueen.com/forums/topic/decrease-wordpress-site-loading-times

ParticipantAs I’ve said before, we have all those installed. We are going to try to switch to a cloud storage server this evening. Thanks for your attempt at resolving this issue.
Is the issue with RTMedia permanent or something that happened in a recent update? You shouldn’t pre-package a plugin that doesn’t even work with your theme on a VPS server, just my opinion.February 19, 2016 at 04:35 #104918Laura
ModeratorHello, we do not pre-package it, it comes from wordpress repository, with the latest update, we are not related to the plugin creator, at the plugin installation you will see rtmedia comes from the repository, not prepackaged.
