i bought kleo and i updatet VIrtual Composer updatet > WPBakery Page Builder. Now i cant see die Backend Editor…
What to do?
Thank a lot!
September 30, 2017 at 17:47 #175253Kieran_SQModeratorHi,
Sorry to hear you’re having issues with Visual Composer. You can go to WP Admin > WPBakery Page Builder > Role Manager > Option: ‘Post types’ > Dropdown: ‘Custom’ > Checkboxes: Select desired post types and save.
You should now see the Visual Composer editor button on the post types you have selected. If this is not the case please provide admin credentials so I can look more into this for you.
Thanks,
Kieran.

September 30, 2017 at 19:59 #175269Kieran_SQModeratorHi,
I have logged into your site and in WP Admin you’re getting quite a few console errors (F12 in Google Chrome), it is quite possible that this is why Visual Composer is not working. This is likely to mean one of three things, either there is an issue with the WordPress installation, a plugin conflict of the KLEO theme files were modified / failed to update.
Please try the following after creating a full backup of your site’s contents and database. You may wish to use staging, a local test environment or maintenance mode for these tests.
– Disable W3 Total Cache, any services like CloudFlare and MaxCDN for all of these steps
– Disable all plugins except for BuddyPress and K Elements. Clear your cache whilst in WP Admin (Ctrl+F5) and try to create a new post, does the issue continue?
– Go to WP Admin > Dashboard > Updates > Click ‘Reinstall now’. Clear your cache whilst in WP Admin (Ctrl+F5) and try to create a new post, does the issue continue?
– Download the main KLEO theme files from ThemeForest and manually (FTP) upload / overwrite the contents of /wp-content/themes/kleo/. Clear your cache whilst in WP Admin (Ctrl+F5) and try to create a new post, does the issue continue?
– Switch to the KLEO parent theme (main theme), clear you cache as above, does the issue continue? Thanks,
Kieran.

September 30, 2017 at 20:31 #175273Kieran_SQModeratorHi,
You can see the console errors by pressing F12 in your browser. If you’re using Google Chrome you will see them in the bottom right once the panel is open.

September 30, 2017 at 20:40 #175275HDBD15ParticipantOkay i found.. it says thatt contact form 7 is old.. but no dramatical errors… i will try.. Thank U!
this could be a jquery problem. is there no fix?September 30, 2017 at 20:46 #175277Kieran_SQModeratorHi,
It does appear to be a jQuery problem, but I believe that is being caused by a plugin. When you disable Contact Form 7 does the issue go away? If it does, try to enable it again but disable the addons for Contact Form 7 you have installed. It may well be caused by these plugins.
If the cause is a plugin you will need to contact the plugin developer to seek assistance so the conflict can be resolved or find an alternative plugin that has the functionality you require.
Thanks,
Kieran.

September 30, 2017 at 21:09 #175280Kieran_SQModeratorHi,
Glad you found the plugin causing the issue, I checked the plugin on the WordPress repository and it seems someone else reported the same issue about 2hrs ago – https://wordpress.org/support/topic/conflicting-with-visual-composer-2/. You should comment on that ticket so the developer knows this is an issue with their plugin that needs to be addressed.
In the meantime please try rolling back the version of WP Statistics to see if the issue is caused by their latest update. To do this please go to https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-statistics/advanced/ > Scroll to: Previous Versions > Dropdown: Select older version. You will need to either delete the plugin and reupload the older version via WP Admin or replace the plugin contents via FTP with the older version.
Thanks,
Kieran.
