Visual Composer Grid Preview Text

Hello Forum,

another question, maybe not totally related to Kleo. I am using the Members Grid and Group Grid Element in Visual Composer like here http://gamebiz.club/. The issue though is, that, if there is the standard avatar for a group or a user, the grid shows no preview for the name of the group/user before clicking on it. If there is an individual avatar everything is ok.

Somebody an idea on hwo to fix that?

Hi, on what page you see that issue? In the homepage I can’t see anything related to user avatars

Hi,

I removed it because it looked bad. I can add it back for you if you want.

The widgets have the same issue. Like here http://gamebiz.club/members/, if you hover over the “Users I am following or “Whos Online”. If there is no avatar set, the hover has no name.

I added the two elements back to to front page (you have to be logged out!) for you to check.

I’d guess its both the same issue 😉

I see what you mean. Those widgets are handled by Buddypress and we can’t interfere there. The problem is somehow related to the plugin you are using for the tips since it displays even though there is no title on that link

So you say its a buddy press bug? I have NO special plugin installed for the tips??

You have those balck qtips for every link.. which is kind of spooky 🙂
I am sure it comes from a plugin since it is not theme functionality

It was Gravatar Hovercards from the official Jetpack Plugin…wtf?

This is really strange, not sure which addons this ist 😛 But after deactiving the hovercards part of Jetpack at least the placements without Avatar are NOT empty anymore!
