Visual Composer Image Gallery Custom Links

Hello,

I asked WP Bakery support why the my images weren’t opening to the custom link and they responded with the below:

“The issue is because there is a Visual Composer related code present in your theme added by the theme author. You will have to get rid of it. I would advise you to do so with the help of theme author, otherwise you might loose the extra elements added by them. Once this is done, you can install the standalone plugin and it will work fine. Kindly check.”

Can you please help me?

Yes, do you have k-elements and visual composer plugins updated ? check please here : wp-admin -> appearance -> install plugins.

Also if you don’t have any update notice regarding the update, provide admin credentials to take a look maybei will need to de-activate child theme and plugins

Hi,

I’ve investigated and this it seems to be a bug from our theme, i’ve added this issue on the bug list and we will fix this until next update and also we will provide you a solution until then when we fix it

Hi,

We already have fixed this problem you should only to replace this file : wp-content/themes/kleo/vc_templates/vc_gallery.php with the attached file after you unzip it.

Is that file that I need to replace located in my FTP account or in WordPress? Will it alter anything else on my site?

Hi,

The file should be replaced via FTP, login to your ftp server go to your website root wp installation then go to wp-content/themes/kleo/vc_templates/ and upload that file, replace the file !

And that’s all, you will see the artists page working with the links, will not alter nothing, upload it to this path and everything will be ok wp-content/themes/kleo/vc_templates/ by overwriting the old file.
