I have had BuddyApp for a while. I also had my own copy of Visual Composer. I updated to visual composer 4.10 just before BuddyApp 1.1 came out. BuddyApp installed OK. However, I just had an issue with another plugin. After working with their support team they found a work around but determined that the problem was with Visual Composer and a fatal error caused by VC firing the same actions twice. They wondered if I had two Visual Composers installed. I looked at my plugin files and don’t see 2 Visual Composers. However, I notice that for BuddyApp you have some instructions about VC installation and update that might imply that BuddyApp 1.1 installed another VC 4.10 when I did the theme update. Can you clarify if there’s any conflict here and/or if there’s anywhere I should check to make sure there’s no conflict between the VC you provide in the theme and the one I separately purchased?
March 11, 2016 at 10:48 #109939LauraModeratorHello, BuddyApp updates will update your visual composer every time there is a new update, so the conflict might be because you have a different version of vc that the one the theme thinks you have.
