Visual Composer not working properly

I’ve checked the forum and found similar issues but I have VC version 4.6.1, Kleo Theme version 3.0.5 (using Child), and WordPress 4.2.4.

Visual Composer gives an error when loading the Front End editor: Script: http://motivatewellness.com/wp…r,heartbeat,autosave&ver=4.2.4:3

If I click ‘Continue’ it does seem to load ok.

In the backend and frontend enditors, the content editor boxes appear empty because there is white text on white background. And it’s impossible to switch between ‘Visual’ tab and ‘Text’ tab. It’s actually stuck on ‘Text’.

I can’t find this reported on Visual Composer support.

I found a problem with the security preventing TinyMCE editor from loading. So that has now been fixed, but Visual Composer Front End editor just will not load.

I found a couple of errors in Firebug console:

TypeError: window.tinyMCE.activeEditor is null
TypeError: vc.shortcodes.get(…) is undefined

Would this be related?

Can you please provide us admin credentials to your site so we can give a closer look into this ? Also don’t forget to mention in which page you encounter this issues.

Hi I have a similar problem:

These are the errors I am getting
SyntaxError: Unexpected token {
#1 http://www.igniri.com/wp-includes/js/tinymce/wp-tinymce.php?c=1&ver=4109-20150505:9:16578

ReferenceError: tinymce is not defined
#2 http://www.igniri.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=kleo_options&tab=1:3035:1
#1 http://www.igniri.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=kleo_options&tab=1:3035:1

I know the errors are present sometimes because the way VC initiate the wp editor but most of the times everything should work normally even if you can see this error in your console.

If something doesn’t work probably have another source, so if all is ok you can just ignore this js notices.

Problem with database is now resolved but I still had the problem until I updated WordPress core and the theme. All seems to be fine now. Thanks!

Please update to Kleo 3.0.9 and as well update all related plugins and let me know if the issue still persists.
