Hi there,
I’m in the middle of setting up my new site & am creating my new homepage.
While doing so, I ran into a glitch where it seems to be happening that, on my computer (iMac, Chrome) different content is being pulled up then on other computers and browsers.
For instance, if you look at the attachments:
– Chrome: this attachment shows what the “Imzaia Magazine” section should pull up (the four articles at the bottom)
– Safari: this attachment shows that the “Imzaia Magazine” section, when the website is opened on Safari, does not load the correct content category but instead simply displays the most recent posts on the site (which is not what I ask that section to display using visual composer > grid posts)
This is not only happening on my computer (it is very strange that two different browsers would show different data on the same website page with the same instructions) but on top of this my colleagues ONLY get to see the Safari version (in attachment) and never get to see the correct version (as displayed only in my Chrome).
I am on WpEngine and I have gone in and reset the server cache there. I have also thoroughly reset my cache and history, as well as my colleagues’.
I wonder if anyone else has had this glitch, or if you know how to fix it?
Thank you very much.
Warmest regards,
Yin

Oddly, here as well do I get the right articles displayed on Google Chrome, but Safari — and also Firefox — display the wrong articles, i.e. they do not offer the correct category but instead show the latest articles on the site. Thank you for your time & for making yourselves available as you are.

Good news!!! I figured it out!!! 🙂
I am building my new site on WpEngine and, of course, when you are on WpE’s staging environment only the Administrator can see the final product properly.
On Google Chrome I am logged in as Admin, and on Safari and Firefox — of course — I wasn’t! Duh!
Same for me co-creator, who was logged in as editor but not as Admin.
Until I switch WpEngine from staging (i.e. “mysite.wpengine.com”) to my actual URL and plug it all in, things cannot display properly UNLESS you are logged in as the Admin.
I am sharing this here in the hopes of helping others with the same problem, whenever they come across it.
Thank you again, 7th Queen… you guys rock.
Hugs,
