Visual Composer Problems

Hi,

It seems like Visual Composer is not working correct. For example working with 3 columms ends with one columm hehe.. Little strange behavior. Har anybody heard of this dilemma? I’m currently using wordpress 3.8.3

Hi, That can be caused by some other plugins you are using. Try disabling some of the plugins you think may interfere.

I have deactivated nearly all and this issue is still there..

This are my active plugin, the rest are deleted for this purpose, so something is a little weird here..

I think you have some other plugin or code that is messing with the columns. Is it a multisite and are some plugins network activated?

I also tried to re-install the Visual composer plugin but an error occured:
Could not copy file. wp-content/plugins/js_composer/inline/assets/vc/elements_icons/map_16.png

Maybe you have some file permissions issues

No, this is only single install. I added jquery conditionals monitor, maybe you can see there where the problem is..

Delete the folder js_composer from wp-content/plugins connecting to the server by FTP

I’m using my local install right now will all other stuff i’m putting with the child theme. And i have the same problem there and the domain is quite clean.

I saw also that styling of Rtmedia was totally of..it gets broken if you turn of customize.. Strange..

I saw that you turn off Minigo, it must be turned on, otherwise can people check out behind the scenes, it’s a coming soon plugin..Keep that in mind, please. Thanks

You said that you did a clean install on your local server? I also talked with Visual composer team and they confirmed that this can’t happen by default Visual composer and must be a plugin doing this

No, i deleted everything on my local server. All custom code, all plugins besides buddypress, metadata, Rev Slider, Visual Composer,K Elements and WP-Mail-SMTP. I’ll test those one by one..

You local install was a clean one from the beginning?

Yes, it was clean. Now i have continued working on the domain. And added the plugin i’m going to use.. I’ll give you access to the ftp. Wait a second and i’ll get back to you.

I must say, it seems to work on 3.9. I re-installed my local installtion with wp 3.9 and tested every plugin and it’s no problems. In my install on my domain is 3.8.3. I’ll test upgrade a see what happens…And other thought, maybe when i installed the demo content some went wrong in the process…?? one theory..

I upgraded the domain install and it’s the same problem. I’m thinking of doing a re-install in the domain and see what happens..

yes, it’s a problem with my job board on wp 3.9, also another problem that i’m solving right now and some bbpress file permission problems. I did a clean install yesterday. So your user account don’t exist now. But i will add this as soon the problem with job board is cleared. Visual Composer works fine on wp 3.9 by the way on a clean install, the columms are respected. Though it didn’t first in the first install. Some strange behavior overall with many stuff.

I’ll had to used this for making my job board working otherwise i got No such file or directory, strange..

Bbpress icons don’t show up on the dashboard and file permission problems. That is in the fix right now, it seems that several others had the same problems on bbpress forum.

Yes, puhhh..a lot of problems for wp 3.9 really want to use mysqli, it becomes a problem with my job board plugin. But before i couldn’t and still not understand why it behaved like that with Visual Composer. After 3 millions of re-installs and manually install. Finally..everything works.. hahaha.. So is it sometimes.. 🙂
