Hi,
The welcome email that should be sent after the user completes registration process is not being sent.
Why could this be?
Thanks
January 14, 2014 at 11:11 #9700AbeKeymasterThat usually is because the emails arrive in spam or a server problem. Install a plugin like SMTP configure to send trough a SMTP server

I’m not sure this is the reason why as none of my other emails are arriving in the spam folder. Is there any other reason as to why I might be having this issue?
January 20, 2014 at 17:14 #9970AbeKeymasterNope, I can’t think of another reason. Please use a SMTP server

January 23, 2014 at 06:34 #10083daniellemarieParticipantThe plugin didn’t work for me either, still no welcome email sent.
January 23, 2014 at 16:36 #10118jayctParticipanti also am no longer getting any conformation emails ..please check as my client is getting upset
January 23, 2014 at 16:46 #10120AbeKeymasterThis is obviously not a theme issue since it worked before in your environment. You should send the emails trough the SMTP server, check the logs on your server for any problems related to email, disable any plugins that might affect this
Cheers

I configured WP Easy SMTP, all other emails are sent except registration.
I can confirm you that email is not sent in the registration form, I checked in my WHM Mail Queue Manager on no trace is: (
January 27, 2014 at 09:47 #10253FatimaParticipantHi, Just thought i’d let you know that my clients are also not receiving the activation emails, notifications or any other emails. Could it maybe be a WordPress issue? I have upgraded to version 3.8.1
Forgot to add I am using wp smtp and everything was working fine until the upgrade.
January 27, 2014 at 12:51 #10275AbeKeymasterHmm.. We will do some tests with 3.8.1 and see how it goes.
